Emilio Dolcini (born in 1946) holds the chair of criminal law at the Law faculty of the University of Milan since 1989. Prof. Dolcini is the Director of the Department of Legal Sciences 'Cesare Beccaria' of the University of Milan. Since July 2012 he is a member of the Academic Senate of the University of Milan. Prof. Dolcini is the editor in chief of the Rivista italiana di diritto e procedura penale, Giuffré, Milan. He is the co-director of the Trattato di diritto penale, parte speciale (Treaty of criminal law, special part) , CEDAM, Padova, and of the book series Itinerari di diritto penale, Giappichelli, Turin. He is on the scientific board of the series of volumes I diritti negati (The neglected rights), F. Angeli, Milan. He is a member of the scientific committee of different specialised journals, italian and foreigner. He is the co-author – with G. Marinucci – of the Manuale di diritto penale. Parte generale (Criminal Law Manual. General Part), Giuffrè, Milan, whose 4th edition was published in 2012. |
