CRISTINA MAURO - PROFESSOR OF CRIMINAL LAW
Formerly Associate Professor at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) since 2000 and SciencesPo Paris since 2009, Cristina Mauro is currently Professor at University of Poitiers where she gives several courses dealing with Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. She has been Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University (Washington DC) and is still invited as Visiting Professor at Paris-Sorbonne University of Abu Dhabi and at University of Trento. She also teaches Criminal Comparative Law and Procedure at Universities of Paris I (Paris-Sorbonne) and Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) and regularly participates in professional trainings for the judiciary as in European research projects.  After her Phd thesis dealing with Corporate Criminal Liability in a global context, she published several papers on French and Comparative Criminal Law and Procedure and co-edited a collective work on Multilingualism and Criminal Law in the European Union. She is a member of the scientific committee of the International Association of Penal Law and of the administrative board of the CEDECE.
