ADRIANO MARTUFI - RESEARCH FELLOW

Since July 2015 Adriano Martufi has been post doctoral research fellow in criminal law at the University of Ferrara. During the last two years Adriano has worked as assistant coordinator of the research project “Prison overcrowding and alternatives to detention”, teaming up with the main scientific coordinator Professor Alessandro Bernardi. He obtained a PhD by the University of Ferrara defending a thesis on the rights of prisoners in the European judicial space. Since March 2013 he is also lecturer in criminal law in the same University. He was visiting researcher at the Univeristy of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Max Planck Institute for foreign and international criminal law of Freiburg im Breisgau.
